FAQ

Frequently asked questions about FastPCR, WebTools, services, and support.

If you do not find an answer here, contact us with a short description of your task and the relevant input data.

PrimerDigital provides scientific software and practical tooling for PCR assay design, genotyping workflows, targeted sequencing panel development, and related molecular biology tasks. It includes FastPCR software and browser-based PCR tools.

Documentation is available at /fastpcr/. The product overview page is fastpcr.html.

Yes. We support typical workflows (primer design, multiplexing, validation), and can discuss custom features, integration, or specialized assay constraints. Use the Contact page to describe your use case.

Many tools are available for open use. Some advanced features or high-throughput usage may require agreement or service engagement depending on computational load and support requirements.

Yes, diagnostics-related services can include assay design, validation planning, and workflow consultation. See Molecular Diagnostics for details.

Licensing terms are described on the License/EULA pages (where applicable). If you use FastPCR in publications, please cite according to the instructions in the documentation or citations page.

For web tools, best practice is to avoid submitting sensitive or identifiable data unless a dedicated service agreement is in place. If your project has privacy constraints, contact us to discuss secure workflows.

Include: target sequence (FASTA), organism/reference build (if relevant), design settings (Tm range, length, GC %, constraints), expected product size, and any off-target concerns. For multiplex panels, add the full primer list and pooling strategy.
